Humboats Kayak Adventures

Humboats Kayak Adventures waterfront location at Woodley Island Marina in Eureka, features the only dockside kayak and SUP rental facility on the redwood coast. Come on down to Dock A and we’ll provide you with the Kayaks, SUP’s, Canoes, and everything that you’ll need for a paddle on Humboldt Bay. Paddle around Indian Island to see the egret rookery or along the water trails of the Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge. We have both single and tandem kayaks; for families we offer a double-kayak with a drop-in seat in a center hatch for younger paddlers. We have Stand up paddle boards to cruise the bay or surf the ocean. Wetsuits and training included in SUP rental. While we are ideally situated on the water in Humboldt Bay, you are welcome to car-top a rental to a different location (not all cars are suitable).
Rentals and tours throughout the fall and winter are by appointment. Rent a kayak, SUP, or canoe and go out on your own, or take a tour with Brian, owner of Humboats, and witness the bay’s diversity. The loons, cormorants, grebes, pelicans, ospreys, godwits and more are a few of the hundreds of birds in Humboldt Bay! These and a host of other natural waterfront wonders can be viewed from a kayak in the bay. Check the website for rental rates.

My first stay at anchor Beach Inn, and I was very impressed with the rooms, the location, the price and the employees. They have view rooms, but mine wasn’t one of those, so no opinions on that. But the room I had was extra clean and spacious and extremely comfortable after a day on the trails in the Redwoods. Their continental breakfast was better than most and was well attended when I went through – THAT always tells you something. GOLDENDALE, WA TRIPADVISOR GUEST
