Just minutes from Eureka, California, the Samoa Cookhouse, a landmark eatery and the last surviving cookhouse in the West, continues the tradition of serving lots of good food – lumber camp style! Once you walk through our door, you will take a step back into the early days of the lumber and logging industry (as displayed in their museum).
Serving all meals “lumber camp” style since 1890, your food is brought to the table in large bowls and platters, allowing you to help yourself and pass it around.
The Samoa Cookhouse is an all-you-can eat cookhouse style restaurant. We always offer seconds, so no one walks away from the table hungry. Our menu is unique and posted weekly on our Facebook page.
Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner – you’ll never leave hungry!
Breakfast, served family style, can include eggs, french toast, pancakes, sausages, biscuits and gravy, hash browns, coffee and orange juice. Lunch and Dinner, served family style, include entrée, soup, salad, bread, vegetable, potato, coffee, tea and dessert.
